ArcWeb Explorer is now out...ESRI's first Flash release

Well, ESRI has released ArcWeb Explorer and let's hope that this is not their last froay into the wonderful world of flash/flex. The client is designed to hook into ESRI's ArcWeb Services . The first example of ArcWeb Explorer uses a standard world service, but you will be able to use it to hook into any ArcWeb Service availavle from ESRI, and that is going to be a lot of data. I am very excited to see the first official Flash GIS development from ESRI and here's hoping for many more. I do believe that that this is also using Flex, from some rumblings I have heard, so how about that...ColdFusion on all the the support pages and now they are diving into flex, now they just need to make those jsp pages cf pages...

But wait there's more...they have also announced that the API will be available in the coming weeks...they mention Javascript, but I am wondering if we can drive this with anything CF -- perhaps CF Flash forms ?
